Delivery, Cancellations, Refunds, Returns & Warranty Policy

DELIVERY

Cooper Tires delivers to its authorised retailers within Australia & New Zealand only. If you are unsure, please contact Cooper Tires before placing an order.

Cooper Tires will make best efforts to deliver products within 3 - 5 working days to the authorised retailer specified by you during the purchase process, however Cooper Tires will not be held responsible for delays incurred due to unavailability or 3rd party related shipping delays.

Cooper Tires will use best efforts to meet the indicated delivery time.

A Remote Area Surcharge will apply for any orders at an authorised retailer in remote regions to cover extra costs including, but not limited to, freight and used tyre disposal. If your preferred retailer is located in a remote region, you will be shown the applicable surcharge prior to the payment stage in the checkout process.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

It is important to ensure you order the correct tyres. If you have ordered the incorrect size please contact Cooper Tires on 1300 COOPER as soon as possible so that we can exchange for the correct tyres for your vehicle, provided we are notified within 48 hours of delivery to an Authorised Retailer.

Any cancellations will incur a restocking fee 20% and all costs associated with the return of the goods are the sole responsibility of the consumer.

Grounds for tyre returns are listed below:

  • The tyres delivered are faulty;
  • The tyres delivered are the wrong fitment for the intended vehicle;
  • The tyres delivered do not match the description on the site.

There must be no evidence of tampering and that the tyres have never been mounted or used.

Proof of purchase is required for all return items. If you have notified Cooper Tires of a wrong fitment outside the 48 hour period, all costs associated with the return of goods are the sole responsibility of the consumer.

The listed original fitments are correct at time of publication and sourced from the current Njoy Universal Fitment Guide. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for fitting tyres different from the legal permissible sizes within the purchaser’s State of registration. We suggest obtaining up-to-date regulations from the relevant authority before purchase.

WARRANTIES

If you choose to change the size of a tyre this can alter its legality, therefore it is the consumer’s responsibility to contact relevant road and traffic authorities prior to any modifications being done to see if they are permitted. Cooper Tires is not liable for any legal issues that may arise from the purchase and fitment of tyres.

Cooper Tires have two warranties for their tyres.

1. ALL COOPER TIRES COME WITH A MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY.

Cooper Tires warrants to the purchaser that if a tyre becomes unserviceable in private vehicle use as a result of a defect in workmanship or materials during the tread life (when the tread depth wears down to 1.6mm or less) or more than 72 months old based on date of purchase whichever comes first.

The replacement charge will be determined by multiplying the consumers original purchase price by the percentage of original tread depth worn from the tyre. The consumer must pay for mounting, balancing and any other additional charges, or the acceptance by the consumer of a higher priced replacement tyre.

2. CAPITAL CITY MILEAGE WARRANTY

Available in capital cities only. For more information, read our FAQ.

Faulty product returns can be made at any Cooper Tires Authorised Dealer.

Full Warranty Terms and Conditions are also available upon request via our 1300 COOPER call centre or can be viewed in the Cooper Tires Sales Book at your Cooper retailer.
