I used to use mainly Bridgestone Desert Duellers, they were reasonably priced and thought got good mileage, they passed for what they were used for. My Colorado 2008 model had Bridgestone DDs, gone at 40 000ks, put on 1st set of Coopers and when Colorado upgraded 2013 the tyres so good almost put them onto the new Colorado, but I put 5 new ones on. I use DiscoveryA/T3s. I put them on when I purchased the Colorado (mine is a trayback single cab) I have now clocked up 104,000ks, they have been through hell and highwater have never missed a beat...

My vehicle has been over Gibb River Road up to Kalumbru, a super rough road, twice down the Canning Stock Route, Great Central road twice, Simpson Desert twice, to Cape York, across Anne Beadell H/way and lots of other extreme roads…all in a days work for the Coops. Does not matter the terrain, all comes out the back. A lot of fellow travellers out remote areas must have same opinion as many vehicles wear Coopers.

I rotate at 8000ks religiously and together using tyre pressure out in the desert or where ever, dunes, rocks, mud corrugations all handle well.
