I have been loyal to Coopers tires and personally think they are the best. I would recommend them to anyone.
Just to give you a bit of an idea where I have travelled on my Coopers, I have taken a picture of my map. Any long distance trip is recorded and coloured in on the map with a Chinagraph pencil. I bought this map about ten years ago when it replaced an earlier version.
My first set of 4 Coopers Tires in 1994 gave me over 100,000 kms. So I bought another set of Coopers keeping one of those as a spare replacing the original spare that came with the Landcruiser when I bought it new in 1993. So after that I have been loyal to Coopers tires and personally think they are the best.
At the moment I am driving on a set of ST MAXX, and still very happy with them. They replaced the second set of AT3’s. A few recent trips one of which was across the Simpson desert before returning across the Plenty Highway back to Alice Springs was completed at low tyre pressure and no punctures.
I would recommend them to anyone. I have so far converted two good mates across to Coopers and last year I talked my boss at Outback Tour Services (who really likes another brand) to invest in a set of Coopers ST MAXX on his personal 200 series Landcruiser. So far he is impressed and considering in changing the brand of tyres on his fleet of four-wheel drives.
Above is a recent picture of us crossing the Simpson Desert. 3 white 80 series all with Coopers Tires fitted.
