In the lead up to our 2016 Canberra to Lake Eyre trip we did a lot of research on tyres, looking at various makes, the cost, pros and cons.

Armed with all our online knowledge we then went along to the Queanbeyan 4WD show where we visited various tyre manufactures.

What swayed us was the absolute commitment and belief in their products the Cooper guys had. They just knew they had a good product.

We weren't to sure of which Cooper tyre to buy at the time but the guys gave us sound advice, didn’t try to up sell to the most expensive. We settled on the Cooper S/TMAXX 245/75/R16 and have not had any regrets thus far. We have done over 4,200km on various road types in the Outback, deflating, inflating depending on terrain. All the while pulling a 2 tonne Off-Road Caravan. Not one drama with the tyres.
