Our tyres have now traveled over 150,000km and never punctured or let us down once. I love my coopers. Worth every penny.
We were heading literally to the outback of Bourke, Louth, with myself, 3 kids and van in tow. Traveling along a dirt track and we come across a sign that says - road closes in wet!!!
We had driven 14hrs from Melb that day, no rain. Little did we know It had been raining for a week up here. We drove on and the road (if you call it that) was getting muddier and slipperier, the car and van was covered, so what does any city slicker dad do to clean his car..... drive in the water on the side of the track of course.
Well we came to a very abrupt halt. Sugar, we hadn’t seen a car for hours and the sun had just popped out of the sky and darkness was surrounding us. so I drop the car into 4x4 low and my new coopers slowly but surely pulled us and the van out of hell. Keeping it in 4x4 we slipped and slided for the next two hours before reaching Tilby station. What a great start to our adventure.
