When I purchased my 80 Series Landcruiser it was fitted with Cooper Discoverer ST tyres.

I was so impressed with the 95,000 kilometres I got from them that Coopers were the obvious choice to replace them.

Because most of my driving was towing a 7.5 metre caravan the dealer advised that AT/3 might be a better choice. I was immediately impressed by the comfort and quietness.

That was 2 and a half years ago and in that time I have travelled (mostly towing) over the The Great Central Road, the Plenty Hwy, the Birdsville Track, (inner and outer), through Arkaroola, the Strzelecki Track, the Buchanan Hwy, Buntine Hwy, the Tanami Road and Cape Leveque and in the snow at Thredbo, plus many others.

So far 88,400 kilometres and in all that time the only problems have been a poprivet tail and a leaking valve. There have been times when driving on horrendously sharp rocks I imagine the tyres being destroyed but when I get to my destination there is not a mark on them. In my opinion, correct tyre pressure is paramount.

I would not hesitate to recommend Coopers to anyone.
