New Zealand Aspiring Avalanche Dogs

Aspiring Avalanche Dogs is a non-profit organisation that deploys teams of dogs around the ski areas at Treble Cone in Wanaka to rescue skiers, snowboarders and mountaineers caught in the snow.

If this wasn’t enough, they provide education to the community about being safe in the snow and mountains, outdoor safety, the Snow Responsibility code, and how to treat dogs and care for them responsibly.

Cooper tires, through Tyreland, are one of the many sponsors of Aspiring Avalanche dogs, helping out by maintaining their AAD vehicle.
