Amy Chapman and Lincoln Staude entered their production 4WD Patrol into the Sunraysia 600, round 1 of the Australian Off-Road Racing Championship. After securing the 702 race number for this year's season by placing 2nd in last years championship the team where excited to try and better their last year's results.

Saturday's prologue to determine the main event start order went well with Amy and Lincoln placing 2nd in class behind long time production 4WD legend Geoff Pickering. The main 100km loop track was dry, dusty and sandy. Many fast straights and tight treed sections lay ahead of the teams for their 600km.

After Saturday's 200km of competition the team had moved up to be in the lead for production 4WD. With just routine maintenance for the Patrol that night the car was ready to take on Sunday's 400km. With the same set of Cooper S/TMAXX tyres on the car as the start of the event Amy and Lincoln drove the car to a 1st in class and 21st outright. The Cooper tyres worked wonders in the soft sand, running the tyres at low pressures improved the cars performance and not having to worry about the strength gives you piece of mind. Thanks again for the support we are looking forward to continuing our AORC campaign at the Finke Desert Race.
